Currently, I am learning and practicing the art of weaving fine paper cloth. There is a Japanese technique of turning kozo paper into thread by cutting, rolling, spinning it, and then finally weaving it into a warm and wearable cloth (shifu). I am so enamoured by this idea and the resulting cloth. I have been enthusiastically learning these techniques through research, practice and mentorship. There is a lifetime of learning ahead of me, and I am excited to continue expressing my thoughts and presence through this beautiful art form.
